My Experience: Tur Budaya

Tur Budaya

Last March, my school held an event called Tur Budaya. We, the second years students, went to Bali for vacation. On the first day, we came to Husein Sastranegara Airport and go to Bali by plane at around 10.20 a.m. We arrived on Bali at around 13.00 WITA. Then, we took our luggage and headed to number 2 bus, our next transportation. We went to Tanah Lot and took some photos there. Then, we saw the spectacular scenery, especially the waves. After that, we went back to our bus and went to Jimbaran for dinner. Unfortunately, it was raining so hard back then. We got soaked and felt so much cold. After that, we went to our hotel for rest. However, because of we was starving, we call Go-food and bought some foods. After that, we slept.

On the next day, we woke up early in the morning, took a shower, prayed, and had breakfast. Then, we went to the bus and drove away to Tanjung Benoa Watersport. There, we played some watersports. I chose jetski because I think it was cool. After that, we had lunch, prayed, and then went to our next destination, Pandawa Beach. Pandawa Beach is a hidden beach on the backside of a lime mountain cliff. We took photos there. Then, we went to our next destination, GWK. GWK or Garuda Wisnu Kencana is a large garden made from a carved mountain. In the center and peak of GWK, there is a massive statue called Garuda Vishnu Kencana Statue. The statue is so big. It can be seen from a very long distance. Then, we went to Nusa Dua to see Devdan Show. Devdan Show is a theatre performance about Indonesian culture from Sabang to Merauke. The show was very spectacular. Then, we went back to our hotel.

On the third day, we visited Tirta Empul Temple. On the center of the temple, there is a spring that people there considered holy water. Many tourists took a bath or washed their face with the holy water. The rumor says the holy water can cure diseases, attract the mate, and can make we ageless. There is also a special traditional ceremony held there. Then, we continued our journey to Kintamani for lunch. The scenery is very fascinating. Then, we went to Panglipuran Village. Panglipuran Village a unique village because every house there is a traditional and authentic building. Unfortunately, when we arrived there, the rain fell. I felt so disappointed because I can’t looked around the village. We went back to our hotel with sad feeling. After that, we go to 32020 Makrab Event. We dress Bohemian style, sang, played games, and joined a doorprize event. Then, we went back to our hotel for rest.

Next day, we packed our luggage, checked out from the hotel, and went to the bus. We went to Kuta Beach. We were beachwalking there. Also, we took some photos there. Then, we went to Krisna for shopping and had lunch there. Then, we went to Bedugul to saw the amazing temple near a lake. We took some photos there. Then, we went back to our bus and journey back home. We go to Gilimanuk Harbor, crossed the sea with a ship to Ketapang Harbor on midnight.

In the morning, we crossed Suramadu Bridge to Madura. We saw a unique phenomenon when the sea water colour made a border. Then, we went to Gubeng Train Station and continued our journey using train to Bandung. In the train, we chatted, played cards, had dinner, and slept. We arrived in Bandung in 05.00 a.m. We carried our luggage and return to our home safely. After that, I slept for like 6 hours and woke up in the afternoon.

Turbud is so fun. I got so many new experiences with my friends. After Turbud, we have to face our old friend, exam.
