EDU PASSION

Edu passion is an event that organizes seminars from several reputable universities in Indonesia. This event was held on February 15, 2018 in Senior High School 3 Bandung. Students who come to this activity will be given material about favorite faculties and how to enter that universities.

At the event, I and my group have interviewed 5 booths in that event.

1. STAN (Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara)

STAN is an official education under the Board of Education and Training of Finance, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, which provides education Diploma Program in the field of state finance.

2. UNPAR (Universitas Katolik Parahyangan)

Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) or Parahyangan Catholic University is a private university in Bandung, Indonesia. It is one of the oldest private universities in Indonesia, supported by Ordo Sanctae Crucis (OSC) as reflected by red and white cross in the middle of the logo. Currently Mgr. Dr. Antonius Subianto Bunyamin, OSC as bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Bandung is the chairman head of foundation. There are seven faculties in the university:

• Faculty of Economic with four majors: Management, Accounting, Economic Development, and D3 Company Management
• Faculty of Engineering with two majors: Civil Engineering and Architecture Engineering
• Faculty of Social and Political Science with three majors: Public Administration, Business Administration, and International Relations
• Faculty of Law
• Faculty of Philosophy
• Faculty of Industry and Technology with three majors: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering
• Faculty of Information Technology and Science with three majors: Information Technology, Mathematics and Physics

3. ITS (Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November)

 

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is an Indonesian public university located in Surabaya, East Java, with a strong emphasis on scientific, engineering, and technological education and research. ITS has five faculties containing 27 academic departments which occupy an area of 180 hectares. ITS has three campuses in Surabaya. Its major campus is located at Sukolilo, where all undergraduate programs are located, along with the postgraduate buildings, administrative building, main library, faculties housing, student community center, football stadium, jogging track, and student dormitory that can accommodate 1200 freshmen.

A smaller campus is located in Manyar district, providing a Civil Engineering diploma course. The third campus is located at Cokroaminoto Street, providing a postgraduate Technology Management Magister course.

4. AU Military (Angkatan Udara / Military Air Force)

5. Tokyo International University

The university is actually located in the area surrounding Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, which is a part of the Greater Tokyo Area.
